cantia vs Soundtrackd

Which is better, cantia or Soundtrackd?

It depends on what you want from a music app. Soundtrackd is a community for rating, reviewing, and discovering music, with charts that get more honest as members log ratings. cantia is a personal listening diary first: your star ratings stay private, your feed is friends-first and chronological, and features like log streaks and a weekly recap are built around your own habit. If you want community charts and discovery, Soundtrackd is a strong pick. If you want a private home for your taste, that is cantia.

What is Soundtrackd?

Soundtrackd is a website for rating, reviewing, and discovering music. Members log ratings, and the community's charts get more honest as more people rate. It is built around the shared project of mapping taste together.

What does cantia do differently?

• Private ratings. Your stars are yours alone. Only you see them, so nobody is watching.
• A diary, not a database. Built around your listening habit, with streaks and a weekly recap of your week in music.
• Friends-first feed. Chronological, people you follow, no algorithmic ranking.
• No judgment. No public scores, no leaderboards, no like counts.

Which should you choose?

Want to contribute to community charts and discover through the crowd? Start with Soundtrackd. Want a private diary of your listening life, with your friends and nobody performing? That is cantia.
